Selkirk Steelers’ Bennett Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week

Undefeated in three starts last week, Selkirk Steelers’ goaltender Zach Bennett has been named this week’s Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week.

Bennett, 18, was outstanding in the Steelers’ net, reflected in a stingy 1.65 GAA and .943 save percentage. Of note, one of his wins was a shutout effort for the Steelers who have 19 wins and 41 points after 32 games.

Bennett, who hails from Winnipeg, has an overall record of 10-5 in 16 games.

The runners up are 19 year old goaltender Dalton Dosch of the Virden Oil Capitals and 20 year old forward Tony Apetagon of the OCN Blizzard.
