The Swan Valley Stampeders are pleased to announce 20 year old goaltender Zach Degraves has accepted a scholarship to the University of Alberta – Augustana Campus for the 2016-17 season!
Gravy will be suiting up for the Augustana Vikings Men’s Hockey Team, who compete in the ACAC with teams such as SAIT, Grant MacEwan, NAIT and many other notable Alberta Colleges.
“After a stellar season with us [Stampeders], proving he is most definitely capable to carrying the load of a starting goalie and excelling at it, we couldn’t be happier to see Zach moving on and continuing his hockey career.” – Assistant Coach Landon Kroeker.
Degraves will be studying kinesiology/physiotherapy.
We wish Zach all the best moving forward on and off the ice and thank him for his time and efforts here in the Valley!!
