Steinbach Pistons’ Bettens Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week

 

With six points in two playoff games, Steinbach Pistons’ Kyle Bettens has been named the Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week.

Bettens, 17, recorded a goal and five assists in helping the Pistons go ahead 2-0 in their best-of-seven playoff series against Winnipeg Blues. Off the ice, the native of Winnipeg is also focused on education, having committed to Bemidji State University (NCAA Div I).

The runners up are 19 year old forward Kolten Kanaski of the Virden Oil Capitals and 19 year old goaltender Ethan Peterson of the Portage Terriers.
