Swan Valley Stampeders’ Jameson named Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week

 

Swan Valley Stampeders’ Keaton Jameson has been named the Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week after recording eight points in three games last week.

Jameson, 20, had two multi-point games over that span, including five assists in a win against Dauphin Kings.

Jameson, who hails from Brandon, finished the regular season atop the Stampeders’ scoring race with 70 points (22-48) in 59 games. Meanwhile, the Stampeders enter the playoffs on a hot streak, having won their last three games. MJHL playoffs begin Friday, March 9. Stampeders travel to Steinbach to take on the Pistons.

The runners up are 20 year old goaltender Hayden Dola of the Selkirk Steelers and 19 year old goaltender Jeremy Link of the Winnipeg Blues.
