Swan Valley Stampeders’ Tripp Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week

Josh Tripp personifies the popular adage that big-time players step up in big games. The veteran Swan Valley Stampeder forward scored five goals in three playoff games last week, earning him the Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week honour.

Tripp, who hails from Swan River, has had an outstanding season, culminating in winning the Mike Ridley Trophy (capturing the MJHL scoring race) and was also voted the MJHL Most Valuable Player title.

The runners up are 17 year old forward Kolton Shindle of the Portage Terriers and 20 year old forward Riley Vautour of the Steinbach Pistons.
