Jeremey Leipsic will be continuing his hockey career as he heads to the University of Manitoba Campus this fall to suit up with the Bison.

” I am excited to further my hockey career at the University of Manitoba. I learned a lot from the coaching staff and my teammates in Portage, and without them I would not be able to play at the next level.” said the Winnipeg product who finished up his 3rd season as a Terrier in March. “I have made some of my best friends playing in Portage and will miss it for sure.”

“Jeremey won the MJHL scoring race in the 2016-17 season and was a key performer in both the 2015-16 and 2016-17 Turnbull Cup Championships.” Coach and GM Blake Spiller

Leipsic picked up 100 points in 60 games to win the scoring race with 33 goals and 67 assists.

We would like to thank Jeremey for his time with the Terriers and congratulate him on continuing his education and hockey career.
