Virden Oil Caps’ Cross Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week

 

Tristen Cross of the Virden Oil Capitals has been named the Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week.

Cross, 20, recorded six points (3-3) in three games for the Caps, who are riding a four-game winning streak.

Cross, who hails from Virden, is excellent at both ends of the ice, reflected in 11 goals and 30 points in 47 games for the defenceman. He’s also dangerous on the power play with eight assists with the man advantage.

The runners up are 20 year old forward Braeden Binda of the Winnipeg Blues and 19 year old goaltender Ethan Peterson of the Portage Terriers.
