Hitting their stride, the Kings have managed to dig themselves out of the small hole they were in. Doing it by committee and in different ways should be most encouraging for the defending champs.

(+1) 7th – Neepawa Titans

This week: 1-1-1
Overall: 12-14-6-1
Impressive Player: Forward Josh Romanyk – 3GP/1G/2A/3PTS
Clawed out 3 of a possible 6 points in a very tough 3 games in 3 nights road trip against one of the top teams in the division. Still a fair amount of work to go to get into the playoff picture.

Looking to spring board after some well-earned victories. Lots of road left to battle for that final playoff spot in the MGEU West. Three points from getting out of the basement with 3 games in hand.

(-4) 11th – Selkirk Steelers

This week: 1-2
Overall: 16-12-2
Impressive Player: Forward Ty Smith – 3GP/2G/2A/4PTS
A major response on the road has shown the teams growth from earlier in the year. Good teams don’t let losses pile up. Have some ground to make up but showing they have what it takes.

(-3) 12th – Winnipeg Blues

This week: 0-1
Overall: 9-17-3-1
Impressive Player: Forward Ryland Kuczek – 1GP/1G/0A/1PT
Long break between games may have done more damage for the Blues then helped. 3 points in their last four games have them in a tough spot chasing in the MGEU East Division.

(-1) 13th – Winnipeg Freeze

This week: 0-3
Overall: 2-22-2
Impressive Player: Forward Brayden Stevenson– 3GP/0G/2A/2PTS
Still having trouble finding the balance between scoring goals and giving up goals. Whey they score, they give up. When they don’t give up, they can’t score. Tough stretch upcoming gives a chance to turn things around.
