Cast your vote for Kings’ all-time team

By Derek Holtom

Time is running out to cast your vote for the all-time Dauphin Kings team.

The Dauphin Herald is running a great promotion, allowing fans to vote on their favourite players from the long history of the Dauphin Kings.

Players are split into two teams – the ‘home’ team (aka players from the Parkland), and the ‘away’ team (aka players who came from elsewhere).

Just looking over the list of players is like a walk down memory lane. Home team players include the likes of Brad Church, Kirby Law, Lyle Stockotelny, Blaine Stoughton, Ron Low, and Barry Trotz to name a few. The away squad has the likes of Butch Goring, Darcy Hordichuk, and Mel Angelstad.

But time is running out. Voting cuts off at 11 p.m. on Oct. 31, with the full results to be published in the Nov. 14 edition of the paper.

To cast your vote, visit www.dauphinherald.com/hockeyteam and pick your favourite.
