MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State University Hockey program is proud to announce the commitment of forward Connor Navrot from the Swan Valley Stampeders of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

Name: Connor Navrot
Position: Forward
Hometown: Martensville, SK, Canada
Ht: 6’3
Wt: 180

Stats: 2017-2018 Stats: 11 goals, 43 assists for 54 points in 55 games. Swan Valley Stampeders (MJHL)

Coach’s Comment:

“We are extremely excited to get a player with the talent as Connor.

Anytime you can get a recruit who averaged over a point a game, it is big. Connor is a highly offensive player who has great vision when he steps on the ice. If he uses his size to his advantage, he can be an elite player in the ACHA.

With the loss of so many players up front to graduation, adding a player like Connor helps expedite our reloading process. We have a great history of recruiting high end talent from the MJHL and look forward to having Connor in our lineup on a nightly basis.”

The Beaver Hockey program has been in existence at Minot State University since 1995. The team competes
independently at the ACHA division 1 level and plays its home games in the Pepsi Rink at the MAYSA Arena in
Minot, N.D. The Beavers are coached by Wade Regier and assisted by Wyatt Waselenchuk. In its twenty-third year
of existence, the program has been through five head coaches and has one national title to its name.
