Anderson named CJHL 3rd Star of the Month

OCN Blizzard goaltender, Tomas Anderson has been named the CJHL’s 3rd Star of the Month for his performance during the month of February.

After suffering a setback in his initial start in February, Anderson reeled off six consecutive victories for OCN.

The Blizzard netminder wrapped up his month with a stingy 1.40 goals-against average, a solid .941 save percentage, along with an impressive four shutouts.

From Stillwater, Minn., the 19-year-old Anderson was recently named a first team MJHL All-Star; the recipient of the Ed Belfour Award as the league’s top goaltender and has committed to attend Niagara University (Atlantic) in New York State on NCAA D-I scholarship.
