Waywayseecappo Wolverines forward, Cole Hunter, has signed a Western Hockey League (WHL) scholarship and development agreement with the Brandon Wheat Kings.
Hunter joins the Wheat Kings after a pair of seasons with the Wolverines where he suited up in 111 games, posting 23 goals and 45 assists. In June of 2025 after his rookie season in the MJHL, Cole announced his NCAA Division 1 commitment to Northern Michigan University.
In four preseason games in Brandon, Hunter added 1 goal and 2 assists to help him earn a spot on the teams opening night roster.
