The Dauphin Kings announced Monday that they have parted ways with Head Coach & General Manager Marc Berry.
The Kings make the move following a 4-18-2 start to the Manitoba Junior Hockey League season.
Berry had been with the Kings since 2010 and was the club’s Head Coach & GM since the summer of 2016.
“Marc’s a character guy whose efforts to rebuild from within are much appreciated but our record indicates things were not going as planned. It’s unfortunate but change was needed. We wish Marc the best moving forward” says Kings President & Governor Randy Daley.
“Assistant Coach Mitch Giguere will be handling the team in the interim until we have an opportunity to bring our staff back up to strength” added Daley.
The Kings return to the ice Wednesday when they visit the Waywayseecappo Wolverines.
