WINNIPEG, MB – Winnipeg Blues graduate, Dawson Green is this year’s recipient of the Insurance Brokers Association of Manitoba (IBAM) Scholarship Award.
Dawson will receive a cheque on behalf of IBAM that will go towards his post-secondary education this fall.
Green split three seasons in the MJHL between Neepawa and Winnipeg where he enjoyed a career year with the Blues in 2021-22. Green went 23-17-1 with a 2.90GAA and .912SV%.
Green scored his first MJHL goal on an empty net against the Steelers in October and recorded a 23-save shutout the same night. He was also named the Blues RBC-MJHL Community Ambassador for his outstanding work off of the ice in the community.
The MJHL would like to thank IBAM for their support of junior hockey in the province and are grateful to present this scholarship opportunity to our players of the present and future.
