Flyers’ Justin Svenson earns Mike Ridley Award

Winkler Flyers 20-year-old forward, Justin Svenson has been named the 2022 Mike Ridley Award recipient after leading the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) in regular season scoring.

During the 54-game schedule in 2021-22, Svenson scored 33 goals and 49 assists. Svenson was named an MJHL Second Team All-Star and helped lead his Winkler Flyers to a second place finish in the MJHL East Division with a record of 33-16-3-2.

Over 87 games in his MJHL career, Svenson amassed 43 goals and 69 assists for 112 points.
