Steinbach Pistons defenseman, Langey Kruggel has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at The University of Dubuque.
Kruggel spent two seasons in a Pistons uniform where he played 107 regular season games, adding 11 goals and 44 assists.
The native of St. Albert, Alberta helped the Pistons to back-to-back appearances in the MJHL championship series, playing 36 games over two playoff runs where he chipped in 2 goals and 11 assists on the way to a Turnbull Trophy in 2022-23.
The University of Dubuque Spartans play NCAA Division III men’s hockey in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) out of Dubuque, Iowa.
