Selkirk Steelers 2008-born defenseman, Maden Simard has signed Western Hockey League (WHL) scholarship and development agreement with the Calgary Hitmen.
Simard spent 56 games with the Steelers last season where he posted 2 goals and 17 assists from the back-end.
