A pair of recent MJHL alumni have kicked off their respective seasons with goals in the Western Hockey League (WHL) and United States Hockey League (USHL).
Former Niverville Nighthawks standout defenseman, Avery Laliberte, opened the season with a beauty for the Portland Winter Hawks, while last season’s MJHL Rookie of the Year and Portage Terrier, Trevor Hill, scored in his second game of the season with the Tri-City Storm.
