Barry Trotz cut his coaching teeth in the MJHL with the Dauphin Kings. From those beginnings, he’s now considered one of the best coaches in the NHL, backed up by him hoisting the treasured Stanley Cup.
Trotz returned home to Dauphin recently to show off the Cup with family, friends and hockey fans. He even had a street named after him; within eye sight of the home still occupied by his parents.
