WINNIPEG, MB – The Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) is excited to announce a new partnership with Recycle Everywhere for the 2023-24 season.
MJHL fans will recognize a Recycle Everywhere presence in all 13 MJHL team facilities, at the MJHL Showcase in October and online through the MJHL’s digital platforms.
“With the support of community minded partners like the MJHL, we are able to keep the importance of beverage container recycling top of mind throughout the province. Recycle Everywhere bins are conveniently located in every MJHL facility. This makes it easy for hockey fans to give empty beverage containers new life and help keep communities clean by dropping them into a recycling bin,” said Sheri Moerkerk, Director of Marketing and Communications for Recycle Everywhere.
“We’re happy to add a community minded partner like Recycle Everywhere who is committed to helping educate our province on good recycling habits,” shared MJHL Director of Marketing & Partnerships, Erik Swar.
Within the partnership, Recycle Everywhere also becomes the presenting sponsor of the MJHL’s weekly feature – MJ Pundits Pick’Em.
Each Friday throughout the regular season, five MJHL broadcasters submit who they think will win that night and have their picks featured on the MJHL’s social media platforms. Every Thursday, the league’s X (Twitter) account will conduct a poll where fans can cast their vote on who they think will win.
The fan picks are featured alongside the five broadcasters every Friday, to see who can come away at the end of the season with the best overall record.
