MJHL announces Officials selected to work Prospect Camp

WINNIPEG, MB – The Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) is pleased to announce the next wave of officials who have been selected to officiate at MJHL Prospect Camp from July 20-22, 2023.

The 29 officials have been selected from across the province of Manitoba and will have the opportunity to officiate gameplay during the high-performance MJHL Prospect Camp taking place at Seven Oaks Sportsplex in Winnipeg

“The MJHL Prospect Camp is a great event that gives players the chance to showcase themselves in hopes to creating opportunities with teams within the MJHL and beyond. This goes the same with young officials looking to progress their careers and join the MJHL Officiating team. The individuals that are invited to work games at this camp will get a chance to showcase themselves in front of MJHL & Hockey Manitoba supervisors. Our goal is to develop these young officials to become full time officials in the MJHL in the near future,” shared MJHL Director of Officiating, Patrick Gagnon.

Amy Martin will also participate at the Prospect Camps in preparation for the upcoming  2023 IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s World Championship Div I Group A which is being held in Shenzhen, China on August 20-26. Amy is a current referee in the MJHL.
