The Neepawa Titans Junior A Hockey Club are looking for a highly energetic individual who possess strong character, excellent work ethic and a team orientated attitude that can fulfill FULL TIME Equipment manager and medical training qualities.
The successful individual will be required or have the ability to do the following:
- Manage a Budget for Junior A Hockey on the equipment side
- Sharpen Skates @ home and on the road
- Maintain the Skate Sharpener, i.e. wheels, stones etc.
- Order inventory on a monthly/yearly basis
- Manage stick orders
- Maintain dressing room cleanliness
- Laundry daily
- Name bar orders for jerseys
- Stall bar orders
- Sponsorship bars to be put on jerseys
- Must be able to wrap ankles, wrists, knees, shoulders etc.
- Preparation and packing for road trips
- Inventory kept on medical and equipment on monthly and yearly basis
- Medical records kept for every player on every injury – folder for each for medical purposes/insurance
- Booking appointments for therapy, doctor visits/massage for players
- Small sewing capabilities
- Available for practice times and be on the bench for all practices in case of injuries
- Will follow direction on a daily basis from the GM/Coach
- Must pass a Police Background Check
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- CPR Certificate
- 3 week time period must be given if “trainer” wants out of his contract to move “to the next level”
The successful individual will be paid from mid-August to the end of Spring Camp or when season concludes on a yearly basis. The successful individual will be paid a respectable salary.
