Through the MJHL’s partnership with Recycle Everywhere, each member team took part in a new initiative in their local community during Sustainability Month in October.
MJHL players spent their mornings using clean up kits provided by Recycle Everywhere to help beautify their community by cleaning litter and empty beverage containers.
“It is great to have our teams back in their local communities making such a positive impact,” shared Erik Swar, MJHL Director of Marketing & Partnerships. “When Recycle Everywhere brought up the idea of having each team involved in cleaning up their community as a part of Sustainability Month it was a no brainer. We are proud to have like-minded partners such as Recycle Everywhere.”
The MJHL encourages all Manitobans to reduce litter and support sustainability in the province. Throughout the years, Recycle Everywhere has been a strong supporter of the MJHL and its athletes, which supports the league and its ability to operate in communities across Manitoba.
