RBC PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Dalton Andrew (’03) Winkler Flyers

Make it back to back Player of the Month performances for the MJHL’s leading scorer, Dalton Andrew. In February, Andrew put together a trio of 3 point outings and two, 4 point games to continue his monster second half. Entering the month of March, the Flyers veteran leads the MJHL in points (70) and goals (34). Andrew was recently named an MJHL First Team All-Star for his outstanding play this season.

SAFE WORK MANITOBA DEFENSEMAN OF THE MONTH
Ethan Brown (’03) Selkirk Steelers

What a month for Ethan Brown who has helped the Steelers pull within 4 points of the 4th and final playoff spot in the MGEU East Division. Brown posted three, 3 point outings and was held off the scoresheet in just 3 of 11 games played during the month. The Steelers went 3-3-2-3 in February, picking up 11 points in 11 games, which Brown played a key role in.

ORIGINAL 16 GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH
Tomas Anderson (’04) OCN Blizzard

Heading into March on an 8 game win streak, Tomas Anderson was a massive part of that success for the Blizzard, earning 6 wins in that stretch which included an outstanding 4 shutout performances. Going 6-1 in the month, the Stillwater, Minnesota native stopped 160 of 170 shots. Anderson, who recently announced his commitment to play NCAA Division 1 Hockey for the Niagara Purple Eagle’s was also voted as an MJHL First Team All-Star.

CHEVROLET ROOKIE OF THE MONTH
Nathan Brown (’06) Niverville Nighthawks

The St. Cloud State Huskies commit put together a solid month for the Nighthawks and now sits in the top 10 of rookie scoring. To cap off the month, Brown helped the Nighthawks earn a pair of key wins that extend Niverville’s lead to 4 points in the 4th and final playoff spot in the MGEU East Division. Brown was also named an MJHL Rookie Team All-Star for his performance this season.

MANITOBA PORK PEAK PERFOMER
Brody Beauchemin (’04) Winkler Flyers

The third year Flyers forward is enjoying a breakout season, which included his performance last month where he posted three, 3 point outings and three, two point games. Sitting 4th in points (59) and 1st in assists (46) in the MJHL entering March, Brody Beauchemin continues to be a key contributor to the Flyers success.
