2019-20 Week 9 | November 11 – November 17

  1. (16-3-2) (Last week: 3)
    The Pistons enter the week as the top team in the MJHL and have games in hand on every team in the league. Steinbach is also on this week’s CJHL Top 20. They’re 12th.

  2. (15-6-2) (Last week: 1)
    The Flyers won two of three last week with their lone loss coming in a 3-2 shootout to the Swan Valley Stampeders. They’ll wrap up a three game home stand early this week.

  3. (14-7-2) (Last week: 5)
    Swan Valley had a successful road weekend, winning two of their three games including an impressive 6-2 victory over the Portage Terriers.

  4. (14-8-3) (Last week: 8)
    Wayway suffered a 4-3 loss to the Pistons in Steinbach on Sunday but before that they had won three straight and enter the week inside the league’s top five.

  5. (15-4-1) (Last week: 2)
    Two games and two losses has Portage bumped out of the MJHL’s top spot coming into this week. They’ll look to get back on track with three games on the horizon.

  6. (12-11-3) (Last week: 7)
    Two wins out of three games for the Oil Capitals have Virden moving up the standings. Virden has the most games played in the league with 26.

  7. (14-8-2) (Last week: 4)
    A win and a loss has the Steelers entering the week 6th in the MJHL standings. They’ll continue their busy November with three games this week. In total Selkirk plays 15 games in the month.

  8. (7-14-1) (Last week: 10)
    A couple wins for the Blues on home ice over the weekend had the young team happy. They beat Neepawa 9-5 and Dauphin 5-2.

    OCN closed out a tough week with a 4-2 win over the Natives in Neepawa. Now they’ll play two on home ice against Steinbach this weekend.

  10. (8-10-5) (Last week: 6)
    Dauphin struggled last week with three losses in three games and will head back out on the road for three more games this week before starting a lengthy home stand next week.

    Neepawa continues their six game home stand this week and will look for their first win of November. The Natives have lost nine straight.
