Two straight wins to kick off 2019 and seven in a row overall has the Portage Terriers in a comfortable spot atop the MJHL standings coming into action this week. They’re also rated 6th on this week’s CJHL Top 20.

Three straight wins coming into this week has the Pistons just one point back of Swan Valley for second overall. Steinbach was also an Honourable Mention on the CJHL Top 20.

A win and a loss against the Selkirk Steelers to kick off the new year. The Stampeders play two of three at home this week and are ranked 11th on the CJHL Top 20.

A split on the road with the Stampeders has the Steelers alone in fourth in the standings. Selkirk is on the road for three of their next four.

The Winkler Flyers seem to have turned a corner. With four straight wins they’re back in the playoff picture and have games in hand on a few teams in front of them.
