The Terriers had just one game last week but they were successful in a 4-2 victory over Winkler. Portage is an Honourable Mention on the CJHL’s Top 20.

Two wins and two losses for the Oil Capitals last week. Virden’s busy month of January comes to a close on Wednesday, through 12 games so far they’re 8-4-0.

Winkler’s month came to an end with two tough losses, 10-1 to Steinbach and 4-2 to Portage. The Flyers are still inside the league’s top five. They’re fourth place and seven points back of Portage for second.

A strong finish to January for the Winnipeg Blues. They won three straight on their three game in three night weekend with contests against OCN & Dauphin.

OCN went .500 last week, snagging two victories against Wayway and Dauphin but falling twice to the Winnipeg Blues. They’ll wrap up their four game road swing this week.

Three straight losses for the Steelers entering play this week. Selkirk has dropped into a tie for sixth place in the standings with Winnipeg.

A win and a loss for the Stampeders last week as they close out the month by kicking off a four game home stand this week. The Stampeders play nine of 13 contests on the road in February.

Neepawa suffered two losses in three games last week. They’ve got a big game with the Stampeders in Swan River this week. Coming in Neepawa is two points ahead of Swan for the final playoff spot in the MJHL, they’ve played three more games than the Stampeders.

Dauphin grabbed a win and two losses last week. Despite falling to the Winnipeg Blues on Saturday the Kings boasted the biggest crowd this season in the MJHL, as they saw 2,068 people attend their annual Ukrainian Night.

The Wolverines concluded their week with a 4-1 victory over the visiting Neepawa Natives. Wayway sees four of their next five games on home ice.
