Griffin Krone (FWD/’06) – Selkirk Steelers – 2GP | 3G | 4A | 7PTS
The second-year forward put on a show in the opener, scoring his first MJHL hat-trick while adding two assists. Krone tallied two more assists to close out the weekend which helped the Steelers to a pair of wins where they outscored the Monarchs, 16-3.

Chris Quizi (G/’05) – Steinbach Pistons – 2GP | 2W | 2.00GAA | .926SV%
The newly acquired netminder was sharp for the Pistons in the opener on the road against Winkler, turning aside 29 of 31 shots in the victory before returning to home ice on Sunday where he stopped 21 of 23, helping Steinbach open the season with back-to-back wins over the Flyers.

Logan Paquette (FWD/’05) – Neepawa Titans – 2GP | 2G | 2A | 4PTS
After adding a lone assist in the Titans opening loss, Logan Paquette came up clutch for the Titans to close out the week on Sunday. After scoring a power play goal in the 2nd, Paquette would break the 3-3 tie in the third and score the game winner when he came down the left side and snapped one to the back of the net.
