Tyson Draper (FWD/’07) – Virden Oil Capitals – 2GP | 2G | 4A | 6PTS
The Oil Capitals veteran posted a pair of strong outings in two big wins over Niverville and Steinbach last week. In the 3-2 victory over the Nighthawks, Draper posted a goal and two assists before following up with an identical performance in the Oil Capitals 7-5 over the Pistons. Virden now sits in a tie at the top of the MGEU West Division with Swan Valley.

Trace Langan (FWD/’08) – Swan Valley Stampeders – 2GP | 4G | 2A | 6PTS
Langan and the top line in the Valley continue to produce at a high level early in the season, earning the youngster a Star of the Week. On the road to kick off the week in Dauphin with a win, Langan put together a hat-trick performance to go along with an assist. In the rematch, Langan added another goal to bring his season totals up to 5 goals and 4 assists in 4 games.

Kade Stringer (FWD/’06) – Northern Manitoba Blizzard – 2GP | 4G | 3A | 7PTS
Stringer’s most notable game of the week came in a 6-3 win over the Waywayseecappo Wolverines where the veteran forward scored a key pair of powerplay goals before adding a two assists which included one on the game winner. The 20-year-old would make it three games in a row with a goal last week as he added one in a loss to the Terriers and against the Monarchs one which proved to be the game winner against the Monarchs.
