Three multi-point performances last week for Hicks who had his most impressive outing on the road in Winkler where he opened the scoring and turned in the game winner to give the Wolverines another big win. 9-0-1-1 in their last 11, Hicks and the Wolverines sit 2 points back of the Kings with a big matchup set for Monday afternoon.

Liam Ernst (G/’05) – Winkler Flyers – 2GP | 2W | 0.99GAA | 0.969SV% | 1SO
It was a pair of impressive wins for Ernst and the Flyers who picked up victories over Portage and Virden last week. He turned aside all 26 shots against Portage to earn his first shutout of the season before stopping 36 of 38 in an overtime win over the Oil Capitals.

Ethan Stewart (FWD/’07) – Dauphin Kings – 3GP | 2G | 5A | 7PTS
Another MJHL’er who put together three multi-point performances last week is none other than Ethan Stewart from the Dauphin Kings. Last week, Stewart helped the Kings earn 5 of 6 points to keep pace in the MGEU West with his 3 assist effort leading the way on the stat sheet.
