After being named RBC Player of the Month in the MJHL for his strong performance during the month of December, Selkirk Steelers captain, Mathieu Moreira was recognized by the CJHL as an honorable mention in their 3 Stars of the Month announcement.
The Steelers veteran scored 4 goals, adding 9 assists in 7 games played during December to help his club to a 5-2 record during that time. In 33 games this season, Moreira has scored 12 goals to go along with 17 assists in 29 games to lead the Steelers in scoring.
