Brown picked up 3 assists for the Stampeders in a 4-3 overtime win over the Flyers which included the primary helper on the overtime winner. Adding 2 more assists against Neepawa and a goal against the Steelers, Brown’s strong play earns him a star of the week nod.

Braxton Burdeny (G/’05) – Winnipeg Freeze – 2GP | 2W | 1.50GAA | 0.965SV% | 83 Saves
Making a combined 83 saves in 2 games last week, Braxton Burdeny helped lead the Winnipeg Freeze to a pair of big wins over the Blues and Titans. Burdeny adds his second, star of the week nod of the season after helping guide his club to four points.

Adam Vigfusson (FWD/’05) – Niverville Nighthawks– 2GP | 4G | 1A | 5PTS
The Nighthawks leading scorer notched a hat-trick against the Terriers which included the game winner before he scored the opener and assisted the game winner in a tight 2-1 victory over the Pistons. Vigfusson sits second in the MJHL in goal scoring (15) and earns his first Star of the Week recognition this season.
