Trent Penner (FWD/’03) – Winkler Flyers – 2GP | 3G | 2A | 5PTS
The fourth-year local forward continues to lead by example for his Flyers who lead the league in win percentage (0.833). Penner put up 1G – 1A in a 5-2 win over the Wolverines where the Flyers put 50 shots on net. To close out the week, Penner added 2G – 1A in a 6-2 win over the Stamps’ on home ice. Penner comes into the week tied for 3rd in league scoring with with 14 goals and 18 assists in 23 games.

Third-year local goaltender, Eric Reid has been a key contributor to the Oil Capitals success this season. Reid helped the Oil Caps’ to three straights wins where he stopped 14, 31 and 25 in victories against Dauphin, Steinbach and Dauphin. Reid sits 1st in wins (17), 1st in minutes played (1519), 5th in goals against average (2.13), and 6th in save percentage (0.917).

Riley See (FWD/’03) – OCN Blizzard – 2GP | 4G | 1A | 5PTS
In his first season with the Blizzard, veteran forward Riley See has helped his team reach 2nd in the MGEU West Division. See scored a pair of goals including the game winner in a tight 3-1 win over the Stampeders on home ice. See added another pair of goals before he notched the lone assist to close out his five point week. See is tied for the lead in scoring on the Blizzard with 9 goals and 9 assists in 28 games.
