Ashton Paul (FWD/’04) – Dauphin Kings – 3GP | 6A | 6PTS
It’s been a hot start to his time as a member of the Kings, and it continued over the course of last week. Paul recorded two primary assists and two secondary assists in a big road win over their MGEU West Division rival, Stampeders. On Ukrainian night in Dauphin against the Pistons, Paul notched two more primary assists to help the Kings to their 7th win in the last 8 games. Paul now has points in 5 of 6 games as a member of the Kings.

Noel Olsonawski (G/’04) – Selkirk Steelers – 2GP | 2W | 0.50GAA | .976SV% | 1SO
He has been the backbone to a young Steelers team and continued to keep his club in the MGEU East playoff race last week in a pair of strong performances. Olsonawski turned aside 17 shots for the shutout over the Blues before stopping 22/23 on the road in a 3-1 win over the Nighthawks, who now sit just 7 points ahead of the Steelers with Selkirk owning a game in-hand. The rookie sits in the top 10 of all major goaltending categories in the league heading into the MJHL-SJHL Showcase break.

Gabriel Laflamme (FWD/’03) – 3GP | 2G | 3A | 5PTS
It was a big week for Laflamme and the Terriers who picked up 5 of 6 points to keep pace near the top of the MGEU East standings. Laflamme scored the game winner with under five minutes to play in what would end a 2-1 regulation vitctory over their divisional rival, Flyers. The 20-year-old added a pair of assists in a shootout loss to the Titans before he added 1 goal and 1 assist in the 3rd period during a game that was tied heading into the final 20 that would see the Terriers come out on top, 7-3. Laflamme leads the Terriers in scoring and sits inside the top 10 of the league’s scoring leaders as well.
