Nolan Chastko (FWD/’05) – Virden Oil Capitals – 3GP | 2G | 4A | 6PTS
One of the main drivers for the MGEU West division leading Oil Capitals is none other than Nolan Chastko, who strung together a strong performance last week. Chastko scored his 29th of the season in a win against the Kings before scoring his 30th while adding 2 assists in another win over the Freeze. The MJHL MVP finalist added another 2 assists in a close loss to the Terriers to close out the week. Heading into the final week of the regular season, Chastko sits 2nd in the MJHL in goals (30) and 7th overall in scoring (55) through 51 games played.

Noel Olsonawski (G/’04) – Selkirk Steelers – 2W | 1.00GAA | .966SV% | 1SO
In a pair of must win stars last week for the Steelers, Noel Olsonawski came up big for his club who are fighting for the final playoff spot in the MGEU East Division. After turning aside 22/24 in a 3-2 win over the Freeze, Olsonawski made 34 saves in a massive 1-0 shutout performance over the Nighthawks who remain 3 points ahead of the Steelers for the final playoff spot leading into the last week of regular season action.

Colton Alexander (FWD/’04) Neepawa Titans – 2GP | 1G | 3A | 4PTS
In one of the biggest games of the season for the Titans, Colton Alexander’s strong performance puts him over the top to earn a star of the week. After opening the scoring against the Kings, Alexander assisted on both of the Titans next goals including the overtime winner with 2 seconds left to earn two key points. Despite giving up a 3-2 lead on the road in Winkler on Sunday and falling to the Flyers, Alexander added another assist in a close contest. Neepawa holds a 5 point lead on the 4th and final playoff spot in the MGEU West division over the Wolverines heading into the final week of the regular season.
