Week 26, March 13 – 19, 2023  |  The Manitoba Junior Hockey League Stars of the Week are proudly presented by Original 16.

Adam Rajsigl (D/’02) – Swan Valley Stampeders – 2GP | 1G | 4A | 5PTS

He’s been an impact player all season long for the Stampeders and helped his club to a 9 game win streak to end the regular season, earning Swan Valley their first division title in franchise history. The near point-per-game defender recorded 3 assists during the Stamps’ 6-3 win over the Oil Caps’ in Virden, before adding the game tying goal and one assist in their five-goal comeback victory on home ice the following night.

Elliot Perreault (FWD/’06) – Winni – 3GP | 5G | 2A | 7PTS

The 16-year-old from Winnipeg led his age group in league scoring this season with 31 points in 56 games. Perreault capped off his rookie season with an 8 game point streak, scoring 8 goals and 6 assists. Last week he recorded his first MJHL hat-trick against the Blues in the middle of scoring a goal and an assist in games with Steinbach and Dauphin.

Alex Bernauer (FWD/’03) – OCN Blizzard – 2GP | 3G | 3A | 6PTS

Another player who has made an impact for his team all season long showed up once again at a key moment in a pair of wins last week over the Wolverines. Alex Bernauer notched a pair of assists in a 4-2 win before he helped his club secure 2nd in the MGEU West after his hat-trick performance where he added an assist to make it a 4 point outing. Bernauer caps off the season in the top 20 of league scoring.
