Selkirk Steelers’ Bennett Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week

 

Thanks to three wins last week, Selkirk Steelers’ goaltender Zachary Bennett has been named the Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week.

Bennett, 18, posted a stingy GAA of 1.20, with a save percentage of .963. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Bennett also recorded a shutout, giving him three for the season.

Bennett, who hails from Winnipeg, currently has an overall record of 20-10 for the Steelers, who are now preparing for the playoffs.

The runners up are 17 year old forward Eric Fawkes of the Winkler Flyers and 17 year old forward Kolton Shindle of the Portage Terriers.
