-Five years in the Swiss NLA

-Represented Team Canada five times at the Spengler Cup, winning Gold in 2007

-Played three seasons with the Portage Terriers (MJHL) where JP earned a full scholarship to play and study at Northern Michigan University

-Named to the CCHA Second Team in Junior Season

-Graduated with Honors with a Degree in Physical Education

Now retired from professional hockey, JP is using his European experiences and North American passion for the game to pass his knowledge along to the next wave of athletes. Known as a smart two-way hockey player, JP has studied and learned from Head Coaches such as Bob Hartley, Marc Crawford, Craig MacTavish, Larry Hurras, Brad McCrimmon and many more. His passion is to develop young athletes to strive to the next level while gaining positives attributes and becoming leaders in the game of hockey.

JP pushes kid’s potential while guiding them in the right direction; teaching young athletes integrity, work ethic and self-value.

Riley owns and operates a licensed Hockey Canada Skill Development program – Evolution Hockey, where he and his team structure skill development programs for players, goaltenders, and coaches at the Minor Hockey association and school system levels. In the off-season, Evolution Hockey runs a skill development program that encompasses multi-sport, mental performance, nutrition, and physical conditioning, specifically designed for the player with a drive to get better everyday.
