Terriers’ Peel and Gray commit to University

Landon Peel of the RBC Championship Terriers is moving on to the CIS with the University of Regina Cougars. Peel came to the Terriers from the Kootenay Ice of the WHL. Peel was a solid defenceman for the team putting up 23 points in 47 games played.

Garick Gray has also committed to the CIS and will be leaving for Thunder Bay to play for Lakehead University. Gray came to the Terriers by way of the USHL having played with the Fargo Force in the 2013-14 season. Gray played 58 for the Terriers scoring 19 goals and 27 assists.

Coach Blake Spiller notes both players were key additions to our success this past season. The Portage Terriers wish them continued success in their future.
