WINNIPEG, MB – Niverville Nighthawks graduating forward, Adam Vigfusson, has earned a free agent invitation to attend Winnipeg Jets Development Camp this week in Winnipeg.
The 20-year-old from Gimli, MB, is fresh off a season to remember in the MJHL.
Vigfusson helped the Niverville Nighthawks capture their first MJHL Turnbull Cup Championship as a 20-year-old last season. He followed up his impressive performance in Manitoba with an MVP award at the Centennial Cup in Prince Edward Island where he led the Nighthawks to a National Junior A Championship.
This fall, Vigfusson will attend St. Cloud State University where he has committed to play NCAA Division 1 men’s hockey for the Huskies.
