Wayway’s LaBelle selected CJHL Gongshow Gear First Star

Waywayseecappo Wolverines’ outstanding goaltender Isaac LaBelle has added another achievement to his growing resume of accomplishments. The Canadian Junior Hockey League announced that LaBelle is the No. 1 star in its monthly Gongshow Gear 3 Stars of the Month award.
LaBelle, 20, had an outstanding February and was instrumental in the Wolverines posting a 41-point improvement in 2018-19 over the 2017-18 campaign and helped Waywayseecappo secure a playoff berth in Manitoba. The MJHL’s Goaltender of the Month for February registered eight wins, including a pair of shutouts, for the month while recording a solid 1.90 goals-against average along with a stingy .945 save percentage.
LaBelle’s outstanding season is even more inspiring when you consider his brother, Xavier, was a member of the Humboldt Broncos and was one of those team members who survived the horrific events on April 6 of last year.
