Portage Terriers defenseman, Brandon McCartney has committed to play USPORTS hockey for the York University Lions.
McCartney spent a pair of seasons on the Terriers back end where he suited up in 108 regular season games, recording 12 goals and 62 assists. During the 2022-23 season, McCartney was name an MJHL Second Team All-Star and added the most assists by a defenseman (48).
The York University Lions men’s hockey team plays USPORTS in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) conference.
