Briley Wood signs AHL contract with Colorado Eagles

Former Neepawa Titans forward, Briley Wood, has signed at Amateur Tryout Agreement with the Colorado Eagles in the American Hockey League (AHL).

After spending the 2022-23 season in Neepawa where Wood was named an MJHL First Team All-Star, the native of Rivers, Manitoba, joined the Wenatchee Wild in the Western Hockey League (WHL).

This season in Wenatchee, Wood scored 28 goals, adding 34 assists in 60 regular season games. Although Wood and his Wild teammates were eliminated six games into the postseason, he had a monster performance, scoring 6 goals and 7 assists.
