For the first time since 1992, the Winkler Flyers are representing the Manitoba Junior Hockey League on the national stage at the Centennial Cup.
From May 9 – 19 in Oakville, Ontario, the Flyers will play four preliminary games against champions from around the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL). Included in the Flyers pool are the champions of the Superior International Junior Hockey League (Sioux Lookout Bombers), Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (Melfort Mustangs), Maritime Hockey League (Miramichi Timberwolves), and the host, Oakville Blades (OJHL).
