Graduating Flyers’ Forward Thomas Mansbridge has committed to the Neumann University Knights (NCAA Div. III) for next season. The Winnipeg native had the best season of his Junior Hockey career in his only season in Winkler in 2015-2016.
Acquired just before the start of the regular season, Mansbridge recorded 43 points (16 goals – 27 assists) in 59 regular season games played with the Flyers. The smooth skating forward also chipped in with five more points in the playoffs.
The Flyers would like to congratulate Thomas on his commitment to Neumann University and wish him and the Knights all the best during the season. Thomas will join former Flyer Jory Mullin, who is entering his Senior season at Neumann University.
Mansbridge becomes the sixth member of the Flyers to make a college commitment this year, joining Zak Hicks (Red Deer College – ACAC) Tristan Keck (University of Nebraska-Omaha – NCAA Div I), Tyler Jubenvill (Bemidji State – NCAA Div I), Jordan Williamson (Curry College – NCAA Div III) and Kurt Sonne (Northland College – NCAA Div III).
