Steinbach Pistons goaltender, Christian Green, has been named the CJHL’s 2nd Star of the Month for his performance during the month of November.
Allowing two, or fewer, goals in eight of his appearances during the time frame, the 20-year-old from Boothwyn, Penn., was stellar between the pipes for the MJHL-leading Pistons.
In November, Green picked up eight wins for Steinbach, while sporting a crispy 1.55 goals-against average, along with an equally solid save percentage of .943. He also posted one shutout.
Sitting second overall in the major goaltending categories within the MJHL, Green currently has a record of 16-4-0-0, a GAA of 1.83, to go with a save mark of .932 and a trio of shutouts.
