Josiah Vanderhooft commits to Trinity Western University

Winnipeg Blues forward, Josiah Vanderhooft has committed to play USPORTS hockey at Trinity Western University this fall.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound forward from East St. Paul, Manitoba enjoyed a career year in 2021-22, scoring 24 goals and 42 assists in 44 games.

A four-year veteran in the MJHL split between Selkirk and Winnipeg, Vanderhooft played 148 regular season games where he amassed 60 goals and 82 assists.

Vanderhooft was voted to the MJHL First All-Star Team in 2021-22.

The Trinity Western University Spartans play out of Langley, British Columbia at the USPORTS level in the Canada West Universities Athletic Association.
