The Dauphin Kings officially clinched their spot in the McMunn & Yates Turnbull Cup Playoffs on Saturday night with their shootout win over the Oil Capitals mixed with a Stampeders loss.
The Kings 28-21-2-0 record gives them a two point lead on 2nd place in the MGEU West Division while the Wolverines sit 2 points back with a game in hand.
This becomes the seventh straight season Dauphin has made the playoffs, having been to two league finals in the last five seasons, winning in 2021-22.
Like the east, the Kings will not know who their first round playoff opponent is until the final days of the regular season.
