RBC PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Dylan Ruff (’07) Swan Valley Stampeders

Dylan Ruff earns RBC Player of the Month Honours after making a splash in September with the Stampeders. Ruff enjoyed multi-point performances in all four games for the Stamps, which included 5 assists in a win over the Kings along with a four point outing in a win over the Blizzard that included a hat-trick. The top line in Swan Valley keeps on rolling as they find themselves near the top of the MGEU West Division.

SAFE WORK MANITOBA DEFENSEMAN OF THE MONTH
Cale Livingston (’07) Waywayseecappo Wolverines

The Wolverines top pairing defender takes the SAFEWork Manitoba Defenseman of the Month Award after a solid month on the backend for Waywayseecappo. The second-year MJHL’er contributes in all situations for the Wolverines and posted points in 4 of 5 games, closing out the month with a goal in a win over the Kings. Livingston and the Wolverines sit atop the MGEU West Division heading into October.

MCMUNN & YATES GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH
Lincoln Molind (’06) Steinbach Pistons

Lincoln Molind has been solid in the Pistons crease to start the season, earning himself the McMunn & Yates Goaltender of the Month award. Molind helped the Pistons to a pair of wins against the Flyers before following up with a tidy performance against the Titans where he stopped all 19 shots in the shutout. The veteran puckstopper turned aside 116 of 125 shots sent his way in four starts.

CHEVROLET ROOKIE OF THE MONTH
George Jantz (’08) Winnipeg Blues

Just one start for George Jantz in the month but what a game it was for the first-year MJHL’er who earns the Chevrolet Rookie of the Month award. Jantz made 42-saves to help the Blues pick up a 2-1 overtime win against the Selkirk Steelers, giving his club their second win of the young season heading into a new month.

MANITOBA PORK PEAK PERFOMER
Kade Stringer (’06) Northern Manitoba Blizzard

Kade Stringer and the top line in The Pas have poured on the offence early on in the season, earning himself the Manitoba Pork Peak Performer of the Month award. It was a busy month for Stringer who picked up at least one point in 6 of 7 contests which also included a four-point outing and two additional multi-point games.
