WAYWAYSEECAPPO, MB – The Waywayseecappo Wolverines scored four unanswered goals on their way to a 4-1 win over the Dauphin Kings on Wednesday night during the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
After Brody Green opened the scoring on a deflection and gave the Kings a 1-0 lead, the Wolverines turned it on and never looked back. Blake Farthing, Liam Flett, Isaac Catcheway, and Cale Livingston, each scored for the Wolverines in a seven-minute span to give Waywayseecappo a commanding lead.

Mariko Bercier was solid in net for the Wolverines, turning aside 21 of 22 shots sent his way in the win.
THE PAS, MB – The Winnipeg Monarchs earned contributions from seven different skaters while Austin Kindrat made 32 saves to help his club to their first win of the season, a 7-2 route of the Northern Manitoba Blizzard.
After Ty Edwards and Luke Goheen gave the Monarchs a 2-0 lead, Lucas Lorenz cut the deficit in half for the Blizzard, sending the game into the final twenty minutes of play.

Nicholas Campbell would restore the Monarchs two-goal lead on an early powerplay marker before Matthew O’Sullivan’s 5th of the season would bring Northern Manitoba back within one. That’s as close as the Blizzard would get as Kindrat would shut the door while Dylan Prettie, Coltan White, and Boston Zeglen would add to the lead for the Monarchs, taking a 7-2 victory.
SELKIRK, MB – Mitchell Kathler made 30 saves while Ben Bugeaud scored 2:02 into overtime to lift the Portage Terriers 3-2 over the Selkirk Steelers on Wednesday afternoon in Selkirk.
Rhett Perin and Isaac Sousa traded goals for the two clubs to send the game into the second period locked at 1-1. Wyatt Werner restored the Terriers lead on an early powerplay goal in the second only to have the Steelers tie the game once again when Noah Paulsen recorded his 6th of the season.

After a scoreless 3rd period, Ben Bugeaud’s second of the season would earn the Terriers the extra point, moving to 3-1-1-0 on the season.
